Bachelors degree is required
The Administrative Director is responsible for all operations (administrative, technical, and fiscal) of Saratoga Hospital Laboratories (including main campus, urgent and emergent care, physician office practices). The Administrative Director, in close collaboration with the Laboratory Medical Director, assures the quality of all laboratory testing whether performed in the lab or in other departments.
The Director assures the efficient, accurate, timely delivery of all diagnostic laboratory testing; and assures the accurate and timely reporting of test results.
The Director shall also assure that all methods of practice and/or work performance shall conform to Federal and State regulations, and shall follow established documented hospital policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
Master’s degree in Business/Science, Health Administration or related field preferred.
Minimum of 7 years in a supervisory or management role required. Experience as an Administrative Director of a hospital laboratory preferred.
Experience interfacing with physician practices required.
Experience with NYS Department of Health preferred.
Proven track record in creating vision, strategy, policies, and procedures in partnership with laboratory medical director required.
