The Director, Learning and Organizational Development is responsible for developing and directing all of the organizations key learning and development processes. This person will have responsibility for providing general OD diagnostic and intervention services for a wide variety of corporate clients, needs analysis, development, coordination and implementation of region-wide people and organization development programs and interventions, including talent management, performance management, and learning initiatives. This person collaborates with business unit leaders and HR Business Partners to improve business unit, team and individual performance; assists managers in creating alignment around UNA key strategies; diagnosis, designs and delivers a wide range of interventions: change management, training, talent management, coaching and team development - all to improve organizational effectiveness. This person also oversees the Operations Training function/manager. This position is also responsible for global learning and organizational development initiatives. |
Contracts, develops and delivers a variety of OD interventions and organizational change strategies utilizing performance consulting skills as well as external resources in support of strategic plan and key initiatives. Works with teams, departments, functions, and whole organization.
Is a resource to HR business partners to embed OD competence across the organization.
Responsible for creating and Learning and Development Framework that address company's training/development needs. Delivers high impact through the use of techniques that maximize learner participation, comprehension and application of the material.
Identifies development opportunities and coaches company leaders in order to increase their managerial and leadership effectiveness.
Continually builds bench-strength of leadership talent at all levels by determining needs through bench-strength assessment, succession planning and IDP. Partners with senior leaders to design and implement leadership and hi-potential development strategies.
Oversees development and tools to support UNA Talent Management Strategy.
Oversees the development and management of the Learning Management System (LMS).
Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives.
-Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
