StudioCube, the in-house advertising firm for CareFusion, is seeking an Account Director to join our team. CareFusion is a global medical technology company with products and services that help improve the safety and cost of healthcare for generations to come.
The Account Director will oversee and act as the lead, mentor and brand ambassador for the Account Management team. They are a highly passionate, collaborative, results-based, hands-on, creative oriented leader. This individual will demonstrate the following responsibilities:
Effective management of a team
Strategic marketing leadership
Building and growing client relationships
Contributing to the creative process
Most importantly, the Account Director ensures the needs of clients are continually met, the Account Management team is running efficiently and that there is constant alignment with the Creative team.
What is expected of you for success in your role?
Manages an experienced Account Management team (5-7 individuals) to ensure individuals are performing at high level
Set expectations and standards (build a culture) for Account Management team attitude, behavior, teamwork and professional development
Partners with the Creative Services team to ensure projects meet the client and customer needs
Ensures that our high quality of creative and production is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards for him/herself and others on the team
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of marketing communications process, principles and best practices
Leads and implements small to large scope marketing communication projects
Makes recommendations of appropriate marketing communications strategies and methodologies based on business needs within budget requirements to achieve desired results
Counsel and collaborates with marketing leaders on marketing communications strategies to meet business objectives
Makes recommendations and executes appropriate messaging and program strategies
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage different project demands
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of executive management
Coordinate with multiple teams, including Creative Services, Production, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Trade Shows, Events, Internal Communications, The Center for Safety and Clinical Excellence and Market Research groups
Understand strategic goals, brand and become an advocate for corporate brand initiatives
Ability to calmly handle conflict and client pressure
Bachelor's Degree (major in Marketing, Communication, Business or Business Administration, Journalism, English or related fields)
5 – 10 years work experience in related field; agency or B2B in-house agency experience, healthcare and/or technology background preferred
Proficient with MS Office programs, Adobe Acrobat reader and other programs
Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
Problem solver with the ability to make tough decisions
Ability to develop and implement marketing communication strategies and programs that support and help meet business objectives.
Experience in healthcare industry a plus
Must be able to travel (~10% of time)
