Koch Minerals is seeking an
to join our Operations, Compliance, and Engineering team in Wichita, KS. This position offers the opportunity for career development in a growth-oriented company, and the opportunity for involvement in business development and growth projects.
The successful candidate will lead operations due diligence for potential acquisitions, lead the integration of new acquisition operations capability into Koch Minerals, manage early phase screening and development of capital projects, and support Operations Excellence development for existing operations and new acquisitions.
-5+ years process industry operations direct management experience (chemical, mining, steel, metals, manufacturing, or energy related industries)
-Direct experience with heavy industry capital project implementation
-Demonstrated success in safety and compliance management
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Demonstrated leadership skills
-Strong collaboration and team development skills
-Bachelors of Science (BS) in Engineering from an accredited institution OR BS in a related field with equivalent experience
-Must be able to travel to operating sites located throughout the US and globally, enter plant operating sites to inspect operations and visit personnel, and have the ability to access operating structures via stairways and ladders
-Operations due diligence experience
-Large capital project management experience
-Experience working directly with business management to support economic analysis and evaluation of business opportunities
-Heavy industry maintenance and reliability engineering or management experience
-Bachelors of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration from an accredited institution
