Oversees daily operational activities at Crowley's (7) Highway fuel terminals insuring safety of personnel, protection of the environment, profitability of operations and excellent customer service. Ensures diligent application of the principles of health, safety, quality and continuous improvement in support of goal zero. Responsible for the management, training and development of terminal supervisory staff and oversight and support of the selection, training and development of delivery and terminal operations staff. Travels to terminals as necessary to evaluate operations and provide coaching and feedback to supervisors and staff. Plans and executes operational and capital budgets, proactively interprets and responds to financial data and trends and insures accountability to financial performance targets. Works closely with Highway Division management to develop objective performance measures and strategic plans for terminal and delivery operations, supply and marketing. Coordinates with management on matters related to safety, environment, legal, financial stewardship, business controls, inventory, supply, marketing and personnel. Leverages local terminal market knowledge to identify sales growth and improvement opportunities. Responsible for the implementation, interpretation, and administration of company policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and changes to laws and regulations impacting operations. Develops and maintains business relationships with community leaders, local, state and federal agencies. Serves as an ambassador of the Crowley brand and of Crowley’s core values.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Five plus years general business experience, preferably relating to petroleum product sales and deliveries, preferably in remote locations. Five plus years supervisory or management experience preferred. Some experience in administering a collective bargaining agreement desirable. Must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience in leading, communicating effectively, negotiating, problem solving, and managing the performance and results of others.
All Crowley positions require proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Some positions may also include proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
May be exposed to hot and cold outside temperatures, as well as in an office environment, odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially hazardous equipment. Must be able to travel. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom, to climb stairs and ladders. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.
