Direct the procurement of all University departmental requirements. Administer and monitor the University’s Procurement Program. Administer and monitor contracts. Develop bid specifications and scopes of service for complex and technical solicitations (e.g., construction/capital projects) including requests for proposal, requests for information, and requests for qualifications. Supervise Procurement and Materials Management, and Mail Services staff. Supervise the Mail Services Manager and monitor the overall effective efficient operation of the Mail Services function on campus. Maintain contacts with vendors, manufacturers, and Procurement and Materials Management professionals. Maintain knowledge of Procurement and Materials Management-related laws and regulations. Assist in conducting studies, performance related analysis and vendor statistics using data from the Banner System and other sources. Responsible for fiscal year end audit of departmental materials for resale inventory and for reporting findings to the Director of Accounting Services. Conduct training seminars. Represents the University at trade fairs and community group meetings with community leaders, business owners, and executives.

Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
Word-Processing, Other - Automated procurement system experience preferred. Banner experience preferred.
1. Five years progressively more responsible procurement experience, preferably in higher education.
2. Two years management experience, preferably in procurement.
3. Construction/capital project procurement experience preferred.
