Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description SUMMARY:
The Time Warner Cable Media Corporate office currently seeks a Director, Product Management for the New York City office. This person will develop, deploy, and support new advertising products for Time Warner Cable Media. This person will report to the Group Vice President of Corporate Product Management.

JOB DUTIES:
Work on definition, development, deployment, and support of advanced video advertising products with a focus on Interactive Television advertisements. Author product requirement documents, develop associated technical product requirement documents, work with engineering team to architect/author/develop associated software, systems, and infrastructure. Develop a keen understanding of the vendor community that serves the iTV product universe and determine best in class partners that will help TWC obtain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Work with Operations to develop and deploy end to end workflow and operational support structure. Work with PMO to drive a project framework with associated milestones and KPI's in support of product lifecycle management process. Manage product P&L to drive profitability and quality customer experiences.

Prioritize and execute features/requirements in partnership with technical product development team. Participate in business unit request prioritization process (including delivery of business cases, evaluation of level of efforts associated with feature development, etc.), collaborate to create comprehensive prioritization of feature requests across Media sales organization, participate in technical reviews to ensure delivery of proper product functionality.

Monitor and engage field sales to ensure product adoption and sales success. Work with Product Marketing to develop value proposition, product positioning, training materials, product reporting, data & insight integration and collateral materials. Participate in go-to market sessions, sales calls, meet with senior sales leaders and clients regularly to discuss sales adoption/challenges. Develop a product pulse through "channel checking" on product performance and its impact on client and AE adoption.

Research market trends, conduct market analysis, and solicit feedback from key internal stakeholders to ensure the Interactive Television product roadmap encompasses client needs while meeting competitive demands. Monitor trade publications for latest industry trends/analysis, participate in industry trade shows to ensure market visibility, meet with key stakeholders from across the company to evaluate internal needs, meet with key customers to ensure development of customer-friendly features, meet with industry counter-parts to assure competitive product offering.

Manage ongoing product P&L to ensure profitability. Partner with Finance to develop/maintain P&L inputs/outputs, ensure proper accounting for product costs/revenue, adapt product strategy to maximize profit.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Product planning & development, product lifecycle management, project management, product marketing (preferred, but not required)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree
