Director Professional Services
Responsibilities: The Director of Professional Services will have responsibility for developing the overall strategy for growing the North America professional business from $4M in 2013 to $100M in the next 4-5 years. This will include putting developing and getting approval for business case with supporting investments as well as acquisition. This position will be respondible for managing a team of associates responsible for overall strategy program development execution and financial plan achievement for Ingram Micro's Professional Services portfolio in North America. This will include development and maintenance of the Professional Services strategic business and operating plans; vendor selection contracting with key patners vetting onboarding and management; operational execution around sales customer support quality assurance invoice management revenue and margin management; and process improvement and program management for the different corporate regional and divisional initiatives on behalf of the North American Services Division. This position will be critical to ensuring the vendors/solutions systems processes and people are in place to support YOY growth objectives for the North American Services Division.
Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive direct management experience. Related experience must be in some of the following types of Professional Services: Management consulting IT consulting IT staffing System integration Knowledge of: IT Services industry or professional services market; IT distribution channel; traditional sales process from needs assessment to solution development to close; traditional delivery process from needs assessment to solution design and implementation; Resource utilization & yield management; SMB solution providers' business models
Skill in: Customer service business development strategic thinking customer relationship building presentation and training skills strong communication skills solution delivery.
