Leadership position responsible for overall management and clinical operations of Outpatient Psychiatric Department. Working closely with the Medical Chairman of the Department, this position is responsible for overall management and clinical operations of the entire outpatient psychiatric department, which includes: Crisis Service, Dual Diagnosis & Chemical Dependency IOP, Social Work Services to the inpatient psychiatric unit, Outpatient Clinic, and consultation services to the med/surg floors.
Responsible for budgeting, financial monitoring, staffing, and program development. Generates and implements new programs that meet community need and enhance patient experience, while being cost effective. The Director will oversee a staff of APRN's, LCSW's, master's level clinicians and support staff.
Master's degree in related field and progressive management experience in health care administration required. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) highly desireable. Strong oral and written communication, leadership, management and organizational skills are essential. Superior technical knowledge related to psychiatric coding/billing and thorough understanding of funding and industry regulations required, with a proven record of meeting compliance standards.
