SUMMARY OF POSITION
The CW Network, LLC seeks a Director, Sales Planning (Temp) for the Media Sales & Planning department.
Supervise daily activities of two Planing Analyst, including but not limited to:
Review day part audience estimates and work with Research to provide necessary modification.
- Updating day part availabilities.
- Ongoing day part stewardship and allocation of audience deficiency inventory.
- Inventory/program changes.
Update weekly revenue report.
Assist VP and EVP in the creation and modification of:
During upfront negotiations, assist VP and EVP in:
- Quarterly game plans by day part.
- Quarterly/annual revenue forecast.
- Quarterly/annual rate card by day part.
- Excel day part planner.
Assist VP in providing post-upfront summaries to EVP.
- Tracking working budgets.
- Tracking working plans.
- Tracking inventory in plans.
BA in Communications/Television or Related Field.
Extensive knowledge and use of computer databases.
Knowledge of rating system.
Good communication skills with the ability to understand interpersonal relationships.
Knowledge of network/station experience.
MicroSoft Word, Excel. Filemaker Pro.
Fed Ex, Fax, copier.
Four or more years in media or media sales related business.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and other levels of personnel.
Must have the ability to pay close attention to details.
Must have the ability to organize.
Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
