This position directs the strategy management activities that drive the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of corporate planning processes and acts as a liaison to facilitate the consistency of strategy development and business planning across the organization. The position also directs research on emerging industry trends and strategic issues to support strategic decision making.
Expert level working knowledge of strategic planning process, practices, and procedures. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and scenario development with documented analysis. Strong proficiency in strategic framework development and execution. Strong working knowledge of health and ancillary insurance industry. Advanced leadership, organizational, and analytical skills. Strong negotiation and executive level presentation skills. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills. Strong relationship management skills. Advanced project management skills. Advanced level skills in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project Management. Ability to analyze vast amounts of data and synthesize findings. Ability to respond in a timely manner in a fast paced environment.
Bachelor’s Degree (MBA or other Master’s is preferred)
8 – 10 years experience in managing and executing strategic planning efforts
5 – 7 years supervisory and/or management experience
Preferred experience in the health and ancillary insurance industry
