Job Description:
Summary
The Director of Talent Acquisition & Onboarding is
responsible for the management and overall results of
the talent acquisition and onboarding functions. This
position will be responsible for building strong
partnerships throughout the organization; designing and
implementing effective strategies to support the growth
of the company; managing and reporting on recruiting
metrics and analytics; and leading and growing the
companies onboarding programs and strategies that
support and accelerate new hire assimilation.

system

Key Responsibilities
Assist and advise senior management on all significant
staffing, sourcing, recruiting and onboarding
initiatives
Build and maintain a vast network of professional
relationships over a long period of time
Collaborate closely with HR teams in prioritizing and
delivering recruiting support. Provide innovative
solutions to meet the staffing needs of the organization
and actively recruit for open positions
Lead, influence and drive the development of the
diversity recruiting strategy in the company, including
the development of ideas and programs to develop a
pipeline of diverse candidates, initiate and cultivate
relationships with external organizations that are a
potential source of diverse talent
Oversee external advertising, applicant tracking, new
employee orientation, employee referral programs, intern
program and management training on effective hiring
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and
trends, labor laws, and legislative initiatives that
have short- and long-term implications on the
profitability of the business
Oversee the recruiting team, including campus recruiting
and provide support and motivation to the team
Provide overall direction and management for recruiting
and onboarding strategy, guidelines and procedures
concerning best practices, systems, and methodology
Select, appoint, and manage third party vendors; manage
supplier relationships; and ensure vendor performance
metrics are appropriate and monitored
Take responsibility for the results of all staffing and
onboarding objectives within the company by reducing
time-to-fill and cost-per-hire and increasing quality of
hire. Establish new metrics and create reports for
leadership
Partner with hiring managers and finance to develop,
track and report on a workforce planning process,
including analyzing the headcount reports to ensure
budget alignment
Ensure tools and resources are in place for creating a
positive new hire experience
Research onboarding best practices and incorporate them
into the onboarding process
Work with subject matter experts and onboarding program
partners to keep onboarding materials fresh and current
Establish, monitor, track and report on the recruiting
budget
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field,
Masters degree preferable
Experience with various aspects of onboarding processes
Minimum of 5-7 years recruiting and leadership
experience
Must have 5-7 experience managing a team of 3 or more
employees
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management system
(ATS) software
