The Director will be responsible for ensuring that the
Company’s accounting for its income taxes for quarterly
and annual financial statement reporting is complete and
correct under the principals of US GAAP including ASC
740 and FIN 48. The Director must be knowledgeable of
the GAAP rules and generally knowledgeable of U.S.
Corporate Tax principles.

  • Oversight and management of the consolidated
world-wide tax accounting and reporting (ASC 740 and
FIN48). Includes managing the quarterly and year-end
close and reporting process and provision
calculations, effective tax rate analysis, and
identifying discreet items on a jurisdictional/legal
entity basis.
  • Forecast tax provision calculations and resolve
income tax accounting issues with tax professionals.
  • Comply with all governmental deadlines, as well as
internal deadlines including those imposed by
corporate accounting for financial reporting and
cash forecasting purposes, and establishing a work
plan for timely completion.
  • Support the VP of Tax in other tax accounting and
compliance matters, and assisting with the global
execution and strategy necessary to efficiently and
timely achieve the department’s filing and reporting
  • Research new transactions, understand the Company’s
planned position for income tax purposes, account

  • Responsible for ASC 740 Purchase Accounting Analyses
of acquired businesses and related post-acquisition
  • Partnering with Tax Compliance to ensure the
positions taken in tax returns are consistent with
prior analyses;
  • Play a significant role in the diligence and
consideration of acquisitions. Analyze Business
Development financial models, providing constructive
feedback on tax assumptions;
  • Establish relationships with key business and tax
personnel and with external advisors.

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or
MST a plus
  • Minimum five years diverse corporate tax and
accounting experience, with a combination of both
public accounting and large corporation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with senior
management in a clear, concise, and reasonable
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint also required

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for
extended periods of time
  • Primary work environment is professional corporate
  • Ability to travel commercially
