Company Overview: Based in northern New Jersey, the Company is a leading brand in several pet treat categories, including rawhide and porkhide chews, natural treats, dental chews, and hybrids. Requirements: "A minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in managing CPG warehouse operations"Experience with managing multiple warehouse facilities across a wide national geographic area"Experience managing internal warehouse operations staff"Experience in evaluating and managing third-party-logistics service providers including strong negotiation skills with 3PL distribution and transportation companies"Solid knowledge of all phases of supply chain management including logistics, operations, warehouse, distribution, quality, and material management"A general knowledge of production assembly (particularly make-up production) along with excellent knowledge of transaction based inventory management.

"Strong understanding of financialsPrimary Job Functions (reporting directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain for the Company): The Director of Warehouse Operations will have responsibility for all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, assembly & production, make-up, and warehouse activity flow. Major challenges and opportunities will include: "Instilling a results-oriented, high-performance department"Improving productivity and reducing inventory shrinkage by implementing improved processes, planning and performance management.
