Research Now is now hiring talented salespersons in their Dallas, New York or San Francisco offices to focus on it’s rapidly expanding mobile products.
These positions will provide sales “hunters” an opportunity to quickly grow a large book of business within the Research Now Mobile division. With nearly half off all Internet traffic coming form handheld devices, corporations are quickly creating mobile strategies and seek insight from the consumers who use them. Research Now Mobile helps these companies to reach and engage with their target audiences through our mobile data collection capabilities.
Position Overview

Prospect and consultatively sell Research Now Mobile’s digital data collection capabilities to Fortune 1000 companies and mobile targeted businesses, developing new and repeat busines

The role requires a hunter mentality and an ability to aggressively pursue new sales opportunities that are then executed by internal operations teams

Deliver on specific revenue and new client goals

Pursue self-generated leads or leads other company executives, corporate inquiries, marketing campaigns, advertisements, networking, and other sources.

Set up meetings and/or conference calls with and sell to targeted prospects

Use examples, presentations, case studies and a variety of marketing tools to demonstrate how prospects can benefit from our mobile research services

Effectively track all activities during the sales cycle (e.g. contacts, follow-ups, leads, closes, etc.)

Report sales activities and accomplishments on a periodic basis and accurately forecast future demand

Effectively work with Project Management staff (operations) and others to ensure healthy, collaborative relationships focused on delivering superior client value

Education Required

College degreed strongly preferred, but not required

Experience / Skillset Preferred

Proven ability to sell consultatively and successfully into F1000 companies

Not a requirement, but ideally have a background in selling services to CPG, retail, technology, healthcare or market research.

Self-starter

Excellent written and verbal skills.

Great interpersonal and consultative selling skills.

Experience selling services to leading companies

Experience with solution/services selling

Self-motivated personality

Goal-oriented with the ability to work against an assigned quota

Exceptional flexibility and problem-solving skills

Other Requirements

Moderate travel required (up to 35%)
