Description
The Internal Audit Group (IAG) is a worldwide function with approximately 140 team members and offices in 7 countries. The IAG is comprised of assurance and risk professionals with diverse backgrounds including internal controls, consumer compliance, technology, operational risk, financial accounting and banking operations. Additionally, over 75 percent of IAG team members hold at least one professional certification. The IAG organization consists of 14 audit teams aligned with the business units and staff groups along with a professional practice and quality assurance team and a reporting and regulator relations team.
- Lead the Internal Audit Group's team for data analytics and continuous auditing
- Execute multiple simultaneous projects of all sizes and complexity across multiple business areas within and outside of local region, in unfamiliar areas, and for different audit leaders
- Understands, identifies, evaluates and documents key risk indicators and data structure Manage numerous stakeholder expectations throughout the Internal Audit Group
- Adapt quickly to unstructured assignments, clarifying objectives and delivering results
- Ensure the deployment and optimal utilization of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) on all applicable assignments
- Proficient in SQL, SAS, Microsoft access and excel to create key reports for senior audit leadership
- Effectively teach, coach, and develop team members in aspects of data analytics, data mining, and audit methodology
- Act as coach and mentor to the team
- Maintain internal audit competency through ongoing professional development
- Assume full performance management responsibility for assigned staff

Qualifications

Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Eight or more years experience in public accounting, consulting, finance, or internal audit for financial services/banking industry required, knowledge of financial and banking regulations
- Professional certification (CIA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Knowledge and experience in data mining, data analytics, continuous auditing, and report preparation
- Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives that drive performance
- Demonstrated ability to manage people in a way that inspires, develops, and delivers results
- Demonstrated track record of integrity, effective communication, innovation, and excellence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver high quality, actionable feedback to client management on control issues and potential solutions to close gaps
- Ability to travel

Educational requirement:
- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent degree or advanced degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred
