Duties and responsibilities contained herein should not be considered a comprehensive list of expected performance tasks.

Serves as senior level management of the assigned department. Specializing in one or more program areas utilizing a considerable amount of discretion and independent judgment and latitude for action. Performs complex, highly responsible and confidential administrative duties in program area assigned requiring broad experience and comprehensive knowledge of the organization policies and procedures. May provide supervision or guidance to a variety of staff involved in projects and tasks as assigned. Responds to internal and external requests for information which may include researching and analyzing data from files and records. Responsible for auditing files periodically for accuracy and completeness. Understands and satisfies customer needs. Capitalizes on opportunities to improve customer service and satisfaction. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher plus three years of experience.*
Associate’s degree or equivalent college hours plus five years of experience.* One year supervisory experience required. experience = working in a program function in the area assigned. Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, review and generate reports. Requires ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The ability to provide quality customer service. Official transcripts will be required. *Will be subject to a criminal background check. *

  • Experience working with assessment of student learning outcomes and services.
  • Experience with process mapping.
  • Experience working with quality program criteria.
  • Experience working with SACSCOC requirements for assessment.
  • Preferred experience in higher education.

Physical Demands
Works with light material requiring little physical effort.
