Directly responsible for all marketing and public relations activities for Providence Little Company of Mary and related entities such as general medical, surgical and critical care services and a number of specialty programs including Cardiovascular Services, Women’s and Children’s Health, Oncology, and Emergency Care. Develops and executes a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program to support PLCM's strategic business vision and build brand awareness of Providence in the South Bay areas. Directs all market research, advertising and marketing campaigns, collateral materials, and external communications for general image and brand awareness, as well as clinical service lines, key programs, targeted geographic markets, and demographic segments. Promotes a positive image of Providence to the community and our internal and external customers. Administers the managerial and leadership functions of setting objectives, planning, staffing and directing activities and budgets of Marketing and Public Relations. Monitors and measures customer response and program impact, and makes adjustments as necessary to marketing strategies and plans to maximize effectiveness. Collaborates with Marketing, Public Relations and Communications colleagues throughout the System and California Region to ensure a coordinated approach to marketing and communications that enhances brand positioning, improves efficiencies (e.g., media buying power) and maximizes synergies.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline

10 plus years in Marketing and Public Relations.

Marketing and public relations

Service line marketing approaches

Multi-media marketing and distribution channels

Market and consumer research

Customer segmentation Internet marketing strategies

Must have demonstrated experience and success with image and brand development for a multi-site, multi-product organization, service line marketing, market and consumer research, customer segmentation, and multi-media campaign.
