Currently, we are seeking a talented Director Mutual Funds Strategic Platforms to join the Retirement Solutions Division (RSD). The Retirement Solutions Division leverages its strengths in product development, technology, service and risk management to create retirement solutions for individuals, families, and businesses. With the guidance of financial professionals, customers have access to an array of annuities and mutual funds designed to help grow assets and to provide retirement income for financial independence.
The Director Mutual Fund Strategic Platforms must establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel/gatekeepers at Broker/Dealers, various Third Party Managers, Wealth Managers and TAMPs. Must have a clear understanding of each customers platforms, investment strategies and where our mutual funds fit and can be proactively promoted on those platforms. Must have a clear understanding of where our funds meet performance objectives and other critical milestones by completing research and analysis of our funds and the client’s requirements. Will be the primary point of contact for BDs and gatekeepers in completing and responding to Requests for Information (RFI) due diligence surveys to ensure our funds are presented accurately and positioned appropriately.
Plan, direct, and oversee key initiatives that require the team support to ensure their successful implementation. Oversee the NA Mutual Fund Strategic Platform team day to day processes and to develop and maintain reference information for the Sales Team on MF Platform availability. Oversee the Team to ensure timely responses to the Sales Team, B/Ds, and third parties are provided on MF questions, Selling Agreement Requests and documentation required.
5-7 years in the financial services industry, preferably in the mutual fund marketing and/or research sales functions, with 3 years experience in a management capacity.
Mutual Funds analysis and research experience with third party platforms.
Successful track record in managing mutual fund relationships and promoting fund approvals with Gatekeepers.
Superior oral and written communication skills, and strong strategic planning, research, and financial analysis background.
Ability to interpret research, work with internal and external customers to promote our funds.
FINRA Series 6, 24 and 63 required.
