Trulia is seeking a Director Online Marketing to develop and execute an online marketing strategy and plan that rapidly and cost-effectively grows Trulia’s consumer audience.
Reporting to the Senior Director Consumer Marketing, you’ll lead the development of the overall online marketing strategy and program that leverages all available online marketing channels to drive audience growth.
Effectively and efficiently manage and optimize all online channels including but not limited to SEM, display ad programs, online audio/video, mobile and social
Maximize existing channels while identifying and responsibly testing prospective channels, partners and campaigns
Focusing on driving maximum brand appropriate advertising coverage while producing targeted minimum ROI levels and fully optimized campaigns
Collaborating across the consumer marketing team to uncover new opportunities, launch new products/experiences, and develop integrated marketing programs that drive desired behaviors in a high quality way
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 10 years in consumer marketing and/or advertising and a minimum of 5 years in online marketing. In addition, experience managing and tracking online marketing programs
Ability and desire to roll up your sleeves and execute as well as to oversee a team that is driving execution – from copy writing to analysis
Experience and understanding of both web-based and mobile businesses
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills, including data mining and modeling
An entrepreneurial spirit and drive with the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic organization. Also, strong bias for action and getting things done, both individually and with teams
Excellent communication and project management skills
Ability to lead as well as work within a cross-functional team
Strong Excel, Omniture, PowerPoint and SQL skills
