The Director of Operations will lead and direct all aspects of Freeman operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. You will be responsible for planning and carrying out objectives with considerable independence within corporate defined parameters.

Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and manages specifications and delivery dates of all jobs.

Provides guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.

Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.

Coordinates activities with all appropriate personnel to obtain optimum production and utilization of team.

Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.

Manages team of exempt, non-exempt, and union personnel. Responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met for each job.

Determines responsibilities of assigned positions to accomplish business objectives.

Responsible for hiring, coaching, mentoring, and terminating team as required.

Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Skills

Required Experience

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university preferred.

Have at least four (4) years managerial experience.

Have ten (10) years of trade show experience in multiple areas of operations.

Record of achieving revenue and client service goals within budget.

Successful at leveraging technology and people to optimize efficiencies and service delivery.

Experience developing a culture of continuous process improvement.

Successful at recruiting, developing, managing and retaining employees.

Ability to manage employees and effectively present information.

Ability to work productively with clients and general public.

Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
