Reporting to the WW Sales VP, the Director of Professional Services will be the operational leader for the Professional Services organization. The successful candidate will have experience working in a rapidly growing company and bring the operational management skills and experience to support aggressive growth plans.
This person will be responsible for driving the entire professional services portfolio and team that is customer or partner facing, focused on the following areas: on-site professional service personnel, pre-sales assessment, post sales migration support and deployments, software integration projects, and training. The incumbent will develop Professional Services into a P&L, and ensure that the A10 Packaging, Pricing and Promotion philosophy is applied to services provided by this team. This leader will partner with global Sales and Support for success. The leader will effectively manage schedules and resources to get the most efficient use of the resources on his/her team.
10-20 years experience in industry managing a professional services team and portfolio of services, in the security or networking domain working with both service providers and large enterprises
Demonstrated experience building and directly managing teams of 10+ people
Strategic focus and experience taking a company in growth stage to a thriving organization through development of scalable processes and procedures
Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
Excellent communication skills
Works as a team player
