Responsible for presenting and protecting the brand in the retail environment

Develop merchandising and POP material to drive sales and that is “on brand”

Plan, forecast, and implement marketing programs and promotions for the retail channel, including: special promotions, buying opportunities, rebate programs across divisions, and ongoing support programs for product categories and market segments

Serve as liaison between sales and product management

Work with product management to analyze and evaluate performance of product categories

Understand trends, potential demand, and competition; make recommendations to develop and introduce new products that increase sales

Develop and coordinate retail policies and guidelines to support long-term objectives

Drive growth and positioning of brands in key retailers

Monitor success, impact and contribution of all programs and communicates information to management on a timely basis

Develop strategies and support programs addressed at the retail market to increase penetration of products to include pricing, marketing programs, and communication pieces

Develop annual business plan for the retail channel

Responsible for retail rebates

Monitor competitor promotions for each product group. Apprise product management of competitor activities

Provide guidance and assistance to Retail Sales associates relative to their contact with retailers to promote products

Supervise two channel managers and two analysts

BS/BA - Marketing, Management or related; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred

8-10 years related experience required

Minimum 1 year P&L management experience
