As a Director of Software Development, you will be responsible for design, development and maintenance for a suite of software applications: Auctions, CashParking; Quick Content, Appraisals, Premium Listings, etc. The position is responsible for creating new critical development methodologies, architecture of assigned systems, maintenance of all assigned product lines, and management of the staff.

In this role, you will:
Ability to make structural organizational changes to accommodate changing development environment to support new development etc

Ability to work and manage in a fast paced environment

Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for projects from definition phase through implementation

Reviews work of development team

Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.

Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

Defines, communicates and enforces coding standards

Manages multiple technical teams within project schedule

Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project

Understands OO and agile concepts and applies them appropriately in projects

Understands the benefits of the various programming languages

Possesses significant knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures

Recognize industry trends in order to implement new features

Helps develop the next wave of critical products to support the revenue plan

Do you have what it takes?

Experience with Agile software development processes

5-10 years in a leadership management role in software development required

Product Management experience

Some knowledge of C# is desirable but not required

Some Experience with Auction and Cashparking products is desirable but not required
