Position: Director, Business Analyst – Supply Chain

Job Summary:
  • Recommend solutions to new business ideas and concepts through effective technological paths
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to identify then document process requirements, data requirements, business rules requirements and scope as they require changes to their existing systems or are in need of a new system
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions
  • Determine operational objectives by analyzing requirements of business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Decipher and organize tasks of a solution by its components; systems development, process improvement, organizational change or strategic planning and policy development
  • Confer with key project stakeholders and business people to formulate and communicate the business vision for a project
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications to be used by IT staff to develop any system modifications
  • Work as liaison between project stakeholders and developers to translate questions to their understanding
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate between the business stakeholders, IT and often outside vendors
  • Prepare test data and validate software for accuracy against specifications for quality assurance on unit testing level
  • Perform problem determination/analysis
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities and main offices as required
  • Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree

5+ years experience manufacturing, procurement, and fulfillment

10+ years experience with BPCS setup and configuration preferred

10+ years experience in CPG Company preferred

Strong technical skills

Experience with software implementations
