Overall responsibility for Directing the Technical Information Infrastructure and standards for Palomar Pomerado Health. Responsible for the evaluation and assessment of new and evolving technologies and standards that potentially could bring value to Palomar Health based upon the organization's present and future business needs. Responsible for planning, selection, implementation, support and maintenance of the Palomar Health Technical Information Infrastructure including the data center, networks, servers, storage and all associated activities, processes and resources. Responsible for insuring the measurable quality and availability of the Technical Information Infrastructure. Responsible for the selection and the maintenance of the tools, skills and resources to measure, manage and maintain the Technical Information Infrastructure. Responsible for regularly communicating and reporting to the CIO and Palomar Health leadership the status of the Technical Information Architecture. Owner of the IS Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan. Owner and publisher of the Palomar Health Technical Standards, responsible for monitoring the activities of relevant technical standards organizations. Responsible for maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements. Manages vendors and contractor relationships to maintain the technology roadmap for Palomar Health. Practices excellent employee relations and attention to employee needs. Develops and mentors a high performing technical team and is responsible for maintaining technical certifications and a high degree of competency for all areas of responsibility. Ensures financial viability by managing both applicable revenue and expenses with attention to supply cost utilization and a high level of productivity in cost centers under direct control. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
