Position Summary
The Athletics department at Monmouth University is seeking a Director of Tennis to begin in January 2013.

The candidate would be expected to: organize, plan and direct all aspects of a Division I men's and women's tennis program; recruit both male and female athletes; and direct and organize tennis alumni and booster activities. A full listing of duties is available at http://jobs.monmouth.edu.

Required Degree, Licenses or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence

Required Years of Experience:
3 years

Other Requirements:
Three years of coaching experience, preferably at a collegiate level. Must have tennis skills for on-court instruction and practice.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree.
