As the Director of CE Sales your job duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Achieve or beat the sales plan/forecast, churn target, and other metrics for each assigned retailer as determined by DIRECTV

Report back to company executives on market trends and factors that may impact the business

Participate in monthly reviews of the business with the company SVP

Manage assigned retail accounts on a day to day basis

Communicate professionally and effectively with contacts at all levels of assigned accounts including those at the corporate, regional, and store levels

Work with the Director of Labor Partners and the Retail Services team to address any customer or account escalations. Work with those teams to minimize/eliminate escalation points.

Sell in new DIRECTV initiatives and offer to assigned retail partners

Analyze the retail marketplace to identify potential targets for DIRECTV in-store labor

Onboard new retail partners. This involves cross-functional collaboration with DIRECTV's legal, sales operations, finance, marketing, and CE sales teams

Work with the DIRECTV marketing department to develop and secure approvals of marketing collateral to be placed within our retail partners' locations

Work with the entire DIRECTV CE Sales team to develop programs, incentives, and initiatives to drive high value DIRECTV subscribers within the channel

Work with the Director of Labor Partners to achieve the most productive and appropriate labor partner mix for each assigned retail partner

Qualifications

Successful candidate must possess 5 - 10 years successful track record in sales, managing large complex accounts / partners in the technology, services, enterprise software or equipment markets.

Consumer Electronic partnership management experience required.

A verifiable track record of consistent overachievement of objectives is desired.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, metrics-driven environment is critical.

Well-refined organizational and prioritization skills are essential.

The successful candidate must possess and demonstrate, outstanding electronic and verbal communications skills including multi-media presentation skills; strong business acumen and analytics skills; the ability to synthesize and communicate complex business concepts using tools which include but are not limited to, Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook.

Proven ability to develop new business opportunities.

Additional knowledge in direct and database marketing, lead management, vendor management and call center operations and systems is preferred.

Candidates must have a history of sales success and excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.

In addition, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.

Bachelor's Degree is required.

Touch points include inbound and outbound call centers, website, alt media, direct mail, and Door to Door.

Will participate in operational process improvement projects and provide requirement definition and communication of business specifications to cross-departmental team members.
