Oversee the monetization of all USTA digital media platforms and manage our relationships with key US Open digital partners including, IBM and Ticketmaster. Additionally, this position will manage business and strategic development activities, including overseeing digital sponsorship sales and fulfillment along with business development opportunities across all digital platforms for the USTA Online Network, including, Network, and Duties include but not limited to:

Manage internal staff (if any) and any agency relationships to develop and implement innovative strategies to better monetize all digital platforms

Senior leader working most closely with IBM on the development of the website and associated digital platforms

Oversee the Ticketmaster partnership as it relates to digital and on-site elements in partnership with the Box Office.

Partner with and lead the Business Operations team in new business development and new media sales, including sponsor fulfillment, partner relationships, online advertising and sponsorship campaigns.

Contribute to revenue generation through research, development, evaluation and management of new revenue growth-oriented content and programming initiatives for sponsors and sponsorship prospects

Secure and oversee the development of any strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth across digital assets.

Work in collaboration with other USTA departments to further develop or refine content strategy, programming and features across all digital platforms to achieve USTA goals.

Oversee key external relationships with sponsors, TV partners, business development partners, production partners (e.g. IBM and American Eagle) etc.

Collaborate with the USTA’s Business Ops team to identify broader, new sponsorship and commerce opportunities, introduce new technologies, and generate new revenues.

Oversee business operations for and any related properties (this includes but is not limited to: generation of reports, analysis of web site performance data, ad serving)

Proven track record of successful digital business development.

Strong background in primary and secondary ticketing. Well versed on the marketing and operations of Ticketmaster

a minimum of ten years of experience in marketing and new media

Keen understanding of new media trends and issues.

A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar required. .

The power to persuade and an ability to be successful in an open, collaborative environment.

Sound judgment and decision making skills, solid writing ability and effective public speaking skills.

Excellent people skills and an ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with senior staff, managers and support staff.
