Shutterstock is seeking a Director of CRM to join our team and help us achieve our revenue targets through excellence in every aspect of the customer lifecycle management. In this position you would collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies across multiple countries, languages and business lines.

Responsibilities:
Create an end-to-end eCRM strategy and manage execution for all Shutterstock business lines.

Drive revenue via upsell, cross-sell, conversion, and retention improvements.

Drive the planning, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting, and optimization of the email program.

Create nurturing campaigns to help drive purchase and repeat purchase behavior.

Manage customer communication with all paying customers in order to drive engagement and downloads.

Localize the email strategy in key strategic countries and languages in order to provided customers with a better experience and improve conversion.

Define email reporting dashboard and custom reports to analyze campaign performance.

Drive continuous advancement of our email features and capabilities including targeting, personalization, and template development in collaboration with the design team.

Manage vendors, the email team, prioritization, and production schedules.

Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email.

Qualifications

3-5 years of email marketing experience, including strategy, implementation, analytics, and reporting.

Good understanding of CAN-SPAM rules and guidelines.

Experience in providing creative direction and working with responsive design.

Experience in customer segmentation, dynamic content, and testing methodologies.

Knowledge of email best practices and designing for conversion.

Highly analytical with a test driven decision approach.

Strong knowledge of Excel and HTML and ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly.

Experience in working closely with Business Intelligence teams and driving analysis requests

Strong project management skills: experience coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering results, and meeting tight deadlines.

Hands-on experience with Responsys or any enterprise level email system a plus

Knowledge of database schemas, and SQL a plus
