Mercy College is inviting applicants to apply for the position of Director of Administrative Services. Under the administrative direction of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Director of Administrative Services will perform administrative activities that support the operations of the College.

The Director of Administrative Services will be responsible for preparing the annual budget and monitoring it, to keep the COO advised of the College's financial status throughout the year. S/he will review program and/or financial reports to monitor progress in meeting service and program goals and status of revenue expenditures. S/he will prepare and negotiate appropriate contracts with private, public, and corporate vendors.

The Director of Administrative Services will prepare annual program plans by compiling and analyzing statistical and administrative data and develop and recommend departmental policies related to administrative support activities for the operation of the College. S/he will be responsible for researching best practices for all departments and head the implementation of those practices with each of the various departments.

Education Required or Min Education Required:
A Bachelor's degree with a major in Business or closely related course work from an accredited four year institution is required for this position. Master's degree preferred.
