The Role:
The Director of Business Development will be leading the charge for Inigral’s new affiliate advertising network. The role requires a strategic mindset, a sales orientation, and strong understanding of the social and digital marketing landscape. This is a high profile position, which will require domain expertise and a track record of building successful companies or new business units. You won’t be bored with us.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiate contact, develop compelling pitches and secure affiliate relationships that want to target the college market
Build, prioritize and manage a pipeline of affiliate partnership opportunities.
Collect, synthesize and report affiliate partner feedback; inform and influence product development
Define and implement the necessary business processes to scale the network
Provide financial analysis of potential deals and partnerships
Work with senior management on company wide strategic planning
Develop new revenue opportunities for company and its partners
Requirements & Skills:
Passion for technology and startups
5+ years of business development
2+ years in vertical advertising or affiliate partnerships
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Willingness to commit
Solid understanding of Internet technologies
Experience brokering deals with C level management
Experience negotiating contracts/agreements
Creative problem solving skills
Ability to carry out complex analysis
Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Product experience a plus
