SurveyMonkey’s mission is to help customers make better decisions. We’re looking for a senior thought leader to oversee our Business Intelligence group in driving the same objective internally. A strong candidate brings extensive experience managing teams responsible for understanding and prioritizing business opportunities based on thoughtful and detailed analysis of broad sets of data.
Business Intelligence at SurveyMonkey is centrally responsible for building a deep understanding of our customers and business while powering a company-wide culture of data-driven decision making. As Director, you will oversee this group of high performing analysts, serve as a central thought-leader within the company, collaborate with cross-functional and executive leadership to identify strategic business questions, and prioritize team investments to quantify opportunities and impact.

Bachelor degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or other equivalent quantitative coursework and/or applied experience.
Masters degree or MBA a plus
7+ year of strategy and analytics experience in the internet space
2+ years managing teams of high performing analysts
Expertise in defining and solving high impact business questions using data
Extensive experience prioritizing and managing internal client relationships
Outstanding communicator with the ability to collaborate across levels, including executive leadership, to drive actionable insights from Technical skills in SQL a plus
