- Degree Required
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, or related field with Master's Degree preferred. Two years of supervisory experience in a health care environment.

Training and Experience: Three to five years experience in healthcare field. Prefer experience in developing and coordinating health programs for business and community.

Job Knowledge: Basic knowledge of healthcare system. Must be self-directed and people-oriented. Excellent communications skills needed . Requires a valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance; must maintain eligibility to drive as per the White County Medical Center’s vehicle policy.

DESCRIPTION:

Primary functions of the job are to plan, develop, administer, and evaluate community health needs for the WCMC service areas. Must be able to follow IRS rules and regulations for Community Health Needs publications and regulations. Work involves the development of new guidelines and techniques and establishing criteria or developing new information where guidelines may not exist for all situations. Personal discretion and resourcefulness are needed to interpret circumstances and to make decisions in areas where there may be uncertainty in approach, methodology, and interpretation.

Will supervise programs and the professional and support staff in the Community Health Needs Department.

This position may require irregular hours. May require travel by the employee in the employee's own vehicle. May occasionally be required to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
