As the Director of Contracts, you will be responsible for building and establishing a contract management program including a contract database to store and track all company contracts. In addition, you will manage and coordinate all activities involved in the administration of all contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders in accordance with Federal Regulations, the Stark Law, the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, company policy and procedure, and appropriate standard business practices. In addition you will manage and assist in the administration of a variety of contracts including professional service arrangements, managed care agreements, reference laboratory agreements and purchase orders.
Additional duties include;
Implement a contract management program including the development of a contract database
Review all submissions and/or requests for contracts or contract modifications for completeness, compliance and accuracy.
Establish and implement review and approval protocols by contract type. This will require an understanding of the various types of contracts entered into by the Company.
Review executed contracts and accurately enter information regarding the contracts in a contract management database.
Monitor performance, expiration, renewal, funding and payments on assigned contracts. Notify management of potential non-compliance and other problems that could have an adverse impact to the company.
Work with legal counsel to advise management on contractual rights and obligations
Occasional travel as needed.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
8-10 years' experience building and implementing a contract management database.
Prior experience administering a contract management program
Prior experience in the healthcare industry required
Prior experience working with a clinical laboratory preferred
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
