Imperva is looking for a stellar Sr. Manager/ Director of Corporate Communications to join the Strategic Marketing team, located at corporate HQ in Redwood Shores, CA. The Sr. Manager/ Director of Corporate Communications will be responsible for aligning our corporate communications strategies with the overall company and marketing goals. This person will develop and execute innovative, proactive, and strategic programs leveraging traditional and new media as well as industry analyst relationships. The person will drive a consistent and positive brand reputation by establishing Imperva as a category leader, and ensuring that Imperva achieves and maintains the highest share of voice in the category. The ideal candidate is a senior-level communications professional with proven, hands-on experience developing and executing integrated communications campaigns.

Job Responsibilities:
Functional areas of responsibility include: Public Relations, Analyst Relations, Social Media, Crisis Communications, Internal Communications

Develop a strategic, integrated, and global communication plan, executing outreach to national business, trade, technology and social influencers

Develop and execute a scalable, global PR plan

Build analyst relations, crisis communications, and internal communications programs from the ground up

Job Requirements:
Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated communications programs within scope and budget

Demonstrated results increasing company awareness using social media tools and communications tactics

Ability to think strategically and analytically, and make sound decisions quickly and efficiently

Experience leading cross functional teams as well as direct employees and agencies

Experience in working with a broad cross-section of media/influencers with well-developed skills in building and extending media/influencer relationships

Excellent writing abilities with extensive experience in all forms of corporate and executive communication, key message and content development

Significant experience in effectively handling high-profile communications issues, demonstrating sound judgment and persuasive counseling to senior management

Strong leadership, spokesperson, and interpersonal skills with an executive presence

Ability to juggle multiple projects through highly effective organizational skills

Minimum of 10 years of corporate communications experience, 50+% on corporate side; software company experience preferred; willingness to travel

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field
