Work alongside a professional team, in conjunction with the CFO, to plan, direct and coordinate several of AGP’s financing activities and development of the strategic business plan. Direct a team of managers responsible for corporate cash management, credit, property/casualty insurance programs. Work with a variety of business units and accounting groups to analyze capital expenditures and acquisitions.
Manage selected financial needs of AGP including assistance in negotiating banking terms and agreements, maintaining banking relationships and compliance with agreements, procuring, analyzing, and administering leases and investigating and pursuing financing alternatives
Direct Cash Manager in treasury functions including daily cash management, application of cash, cash wires/ACH and related accounting activities
Direct Corporate Credit Manager in duties related to credit approvals, accounts receivable management and collection of delinquencies
Direct the property and casualty risk and insurance function of AGP
Coordinate strategic planning process in conjunction with a variety of areas throughout the Company
Analyze capital projects and merger and acquisition activity
Knowledge of finance and financial instruments
Knowledge of debt/equity financial activities and major company financing needs
Knowledge of areas of financial systems
Knowledge of supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, motivation, and training of personnel
Skill in negotiating, analytical thinking, and problem solving
Skill in developing and utilizing financial data, written reports, and other industry specific information
Ability to recognize existing and potential problems and resolve in accordance with cooperative objectives
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
Minimum of fifteen years experience in corporate finance, planning, and analysis or related work is required
