Corporate Planning supports the Senior Leadership team and Board of Directors in understanding current business trends and their impact on Starwood's key financial metrics.

Job Description

The Director of Corporate Planning provides high level forecast and results analysis to Senior Management and manages multiple processes involving:
  • Corporate financial model (earnings and cash flow)
  • 3 Year Corporate model to assist in strategic planning
  • Regular updates to Starwood's Senior Leadership team on business performance
  • Quarterly updates to Board of Directors
  • Annual Centralized Service Programs
  • On-going Capital planning.
The role works closely on a daily basis with cross functional business partners including all Divisional FP&Aand Corporate Planning teams, Investor Relations, Treasury, and Accounting. This is a great position for someone on the CFO track.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree required (MBA from top-tier school preferred)
  • Ability to manage effectively and lead a project team to improve processes
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment under time pressures
  • Strong attention to detail, especially as it pertains to financial data
  • Ability to develop strong relationships across multiple teams in the organization
  • Excellent technical skills in Excel, Powerpoint (SAP, HFM desirable)
  • Prior experience in Corporate Strategy or General Management Consulting is an asset
