Advertised Summary Job Description
Incumbent will report to the Associate Dean for Development & Alumni Relations and will lead development efforts in specific geographic areas regionally and nationally. Incumbent will manage a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects; develop strategies and cultivate relationships that lead to solicitation and stewardship of major gifts and leadership Annual Fund gifts; participate in prospect assessment and assignment processes. Assist team efforts with Reunion and other major alumni events. Annually prepare objectives for the upcoming fiscal year.

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus five years of related experience.
Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant
Previous experience in higher education or health care setting. Master's degree preferred. Proven ability to solicit gifts. Must demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills; attentive to detail; have ability to work in fast paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously, and use good judgment in prioritizing. Ability to work proactively, both independently and as a team. Campaign experience preferred. Some travel may be required.
