Due to the continued success and strong growth of our business, Sartorius is offering an exciting and challenging opportunity as a Director of Distribution within our Lab Products & Services Division. The Distribution Director (DD) is responsible for implementing a distribution strategy which encompasses developing the channel which is in line with our organizations long term go to market strategy. The DD will be the primary contact with senior managers within the various distribution channels as well as being responsible for a small team (3-4) to ensure our products are positioned in the best way to the market.
What you can look forward to accomplishing -Develop relationships with key distributors
-Play personal role in negotiations of major contracts with Distributors
-Coordinates all activities encompassing distributor marketing in NA
-Effectively manages a small team of professionals whom will assist in implementing distribution strategies
-Responsible for budgeting sales via distribution channels, including top line and profitability measures
-Ensures correct products are in the right channel, i.e. balancing relationships
-Achieve maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value
-Works with global distribution management to ensure local strategies are in-line with global standards
-Sets pricing and discounting policies with distributors
-Works closely with Regional Sales Management, Strategic Account Management to increase business through intelligent distribution strategies.
