Centre College Director of Financial Aid (Financial Aid) Danville, Kentucky

This job reports to the Dean of Admission & Financial Aid .

Relocation is not provided and travel is required occasionally.

This is a Full-Time position , working 1st Shift .

Overview
Responsible for leadership of the Office of Financial Aid, including the coordination and supervision of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs, operational planning, packaging, compliance, funds management and the delivery of strong customer service to students and families.

Job Skills/Requirements

Collaborate with the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, external consultants, and senior staff to craft institutional aid strategy;

Manage, guide, and supervise an office of four in awarding $36 million dollars of financial aid;

Establish and review institutional awarding policies;

Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations;

Utilize several automated systems to serve families and manage f

Utilize several automated systems to serve families and manage funds, package aid, track disbursements and for reporting purposes;

Administer the federal direct loan program and federal work program;

Prepare federal and other reports to meet established deadlines and to support several survey requests;

Conduct annual audits and coordinate with external auditors;

Counsel and deliver excellent customer service to students and families.

Education Requirements
- Bachelors Degree

Additional Information/Benefits
Bachelor's degree is required.

Must have comprehensive knowledge of all Federal and State financial aid policies, procedures and regulations and a minimum of five years of success in administering institutional financial aid programs.

Knowledge of word processing (Microsoft Word), Excel, ED Express, EDconnect and CARS database system.
