West Virginia University’s Enrollment Management Unit invites applications for the position of Director of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment. This highly visible, professional position will interact with senior administrators, faculty, professional staff and other constituents outside the University. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and managing the central responsibilities for admissions operations and on-campus graduate recruitment, this individual will be a visionary leader who understands and deploys contemporary enrollment management strategies and technologies. The Director will collaborate with program directors, college/school representatives and other campus constituents to develop and implement strategic enrollment/recruitment plans.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree; a Doctorate degree is preferred, with five years progressively responsible experience in higher education admissions; graduate admissions experience is preferred. Strong experience using technology to support data management. Familiarity with Banner and Hobsons ApplyYourself and Connect is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
