Due to ongoing high growth and expansion we are currently seeking an HR professional who has the talent and experience to help the company grow and scale and who will lay the foundation for HR. This is an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated, driven and accomplished individual.

Job Location: San Diego, CA 92121

  • Provide expertise for the full scope of HR functions including: employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, organizational design and change, communications, performance management, career development, selection and retention of talent, maintaining compliance with personnel files and administrative processes
  • Client management and consulting including coaching managers on employee relations: performance management, performance improvement plans, written warnings, mediating discussions, investigations, and terminating employees
  • Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment
  • Lead annual organization and people review process including: performance management, goals & objectives, succession planning, salary and compensation planning, and manager and employee training
  • Monitor and ensure company compliance with changing employment laws and company policies, and ensure management is updated that there is consistent application of policies, procedures and practices
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for organizational change, help set direction and provide appropriate resources
  • Help identify areas for training & development, provide recommendations/resources to management
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and Director, Talent Acquisition to ensure recruitment needs of organization are met; participate in interview & selection process
  • Demonstrated success in designing, implementing and maintaining HR Programs in a fast paced, high growth technology company
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, excellent project management and problem solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrated exceptional people management and leadership capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to apply quantitative analysis to HR programmatic outcomes to assess opportunity for continuous improvement
  • High degree of business acumen and people acumen, and ability to influence business leaders at an executive level
  • Depth of experience with delivery of HR Programs and Processes
  • BS/BA degree required with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Work (and play) in our beautiful Torrey Pines office
