Job Description

We are seeking a professional with an exceptional service attitude for the position of Director of Housekeeping. The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel guest rooms and public space. Additional responsibilities are maintaining an accurate departmental budget, ensuring laundry service is up to the highest standard, ensuring that all guest requests and expectations are exceeded and equipment and building fabrics are properly maintained. Additional responsibilities include carrying out spot checks on services and standards throughout the department, coordinating with contractors and other departments and ensuring uniforms for all staff are maintained, controlled and coordinated as required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have four year college degree and four to five years of related management experience in a luxury environment. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be self motivated, organized, and be able to drive guest and staff satisfaction. Multi lingual skills are preferred.
