OPPORTUNITY: Reporting to the Vice President of Employee Solutions, the Director of Human Resources will drive the organization†s efforts to support all employees in their job function, provide outstanding customer service, and ensure the organization complies with all relevant labor laws.
The ideal candidate should have experience leading a Human Resources function in a high-growth environment, including growth outside California. Additionally, the successful candidate needs to be able to make decisions with the organization†s mission of serving students as the primary motivation.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: > Set strategic direction for executing the Human Resources function of the organization > Manage department of five members, including direct supervision of HR Manager and Benefits Specialist. > Work with Director of Human Capital & Human Capital team to facilitate smooth hiring & onboarding processes. > Ensure that all teachers and leaders are properly NCLB certified, including tracking and identifying next steps for those who are not.
> Work with Benefits Specialist to facilitate smooth, timely, and accurate processing and enrollment of all employees into Green Dot benefit plans. > Manage HRIS to ensure all records and personnel information is complete, up to date, and synced with Green Dot†s data warehouse and appropriate applications. > Develop, implement and maintain key Human Resources programs and policies. > Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding policies and procedures.
> Develop & execute wellness programming, including 401K, CalSTRS, & CalPERS, for 900+ employeesCOMPENSATION: Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience within a range $100,000 - $115,000.
