LogMeIn is looking for an experienced Human Resources Director with a proven track record of organizational development and management (how do we continue to develop our people, retain and challenge our best employees etc…), people management (helping all managers/directors/VP’s to manage their organizations better), recruiting, (design and actively manage our recruiting process), culture and workplace environment development (continuing our track record of being one of the Best places to work in Boston and actively managing how we stay at the forefront of workplace development, focusing on ways we empower the employee base and stay abreast of changes to recruit, retain and develop the “Y” generation workforce we have), employee relations , internal training program development , HRIS and related systems knowledge , to allow us to continue to attract, motivate and retain our current and future workforce. Qualified candidates will be energetic, forward-thinking, wanting to make a difference and a strategic Human Resources leader who canrelate to all levels of the organization

Key Responsibilities:
Partners with business leaders to achieve organization and business objectives

Work with Department VP’s to develop organization plans to scale company to next growth level.

Research, identify and address organizational effectiveness issues

Work with VPs to ensure appropriate career development programs and initiatives are aligned with critical skill development and succession planning for key employees

Oversee and participate in various HR functions, including employee relations, compensation, performance management, HRIS and related systems, change management, and decision support

Manage and improve upon core Performance Management program

Manage annual benefits review including comparison of current plans to industry norms and adjusting plans to properly manage costs

Assist CEO and CFO in helping improve companywide culture and communication though various mediums

Counsel management on employee relation issues, conflict resolution and company policy while ensuring consistency throughout the organization

Develops Human Resources strategies for business groups that include workforce planning, pay-for-performance, talent management, talent acquisition, and succession planning

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Participate in the strategic planning process and align Human Resources programs with corporate strategy

Develop programs to increase employee satisfaction and retention

Direct and supervise a staff of two HR professionals in the USA

Work closely with HR and local country management in our development center in Hungary

Work closely and be the main HR resource for our international sales subsidiaries in London, Dublin, Amsterdam and Sydney (a total of approximately 60 employees)

Skills/Requirements

7+ years overall experience. Must possess at least 5+ years in a variety of HR generalist roles, with 3+ years at the management or Director level preferably from within a dynamic, fast paced high tech company.

Strong executive presence with excellent communication and operating instincts, good strategic skills, sound business judgment.

Dynamic leadership, interpersonal skills including influencing, coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and project management.

Ability to identify, support, and drive change working closely with leadership to build an organization through best practices.

Experience managing and overseeing International locations, desirable but not necessary

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field

PHR, SPHR, Masters or MBA preferred
