The Director of Human Resources (HR) serves as an advocate for both the University and the people who work in the University. The person hired for this role must remain fair, consistent, and objective to successfully meet the needs of the University. The HR Director plans, manages and administers all college human resource functions including:
- Employee recruitment and selection
- Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits)
- Performance Management
- Employee Relations
- Training and Development
- General Compliance
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field; 2 years of HR work experience; demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; and knowledge of federal and state employment regulations.
Masters degree in Business (MBA), HR, or other related field; 5+ years' experience in HR; Experience in higher education; PHR/SPHR certification
