TSTC West Texas is currently seeking Director of Institutional Effectiveness & Research. This candidate will be r esponsible for college-based activities in the areas of institutional effectiveness, planning, research, and institutional outcomes assessment. The person is responsible for supervision of college functions such as records management, registration, student tracking, institutional technology, computer labs, and data processing.
Functions and Principal:
- Coordinates planning, evaluation and policy formulation activities related to institutional effectiveness. Participate in the integration of related planning and budgeting activities.
- Performs research studies that support planning, evaluation, budgeting, policy formulation, etc.
- Provides college-wide leadership to committees and groups charged with accomplishing a variety of goals and/or tasks and acts as a facilitator with groups assigned responsibility for developing processes related to the accomplishment and measurement of institutional effectiveness goals and outcomes using continuous quality improvement techniques.
Requires the ability to plan and organize multiple tasks and responsibilities. Demonstrates knowledge of computer applications to support research activities; demonstrates experience in total quality improvement facilitating processes and activities; Possess oral and written communication skills to support interaction with staff, students and administration of TSTC from diverse backgrounds. Possess the ability to provide quality customer service. An educational background of a BS is required, plus a minimum of two years of related experience.

Experience in evaluating institutional effectiveness and assessment through external mechanisms such as SACSCOC core requirements, comprehensive standards and federal requirements is highly desirable.
