Director of Insurance Product and Services Portfolio Management EXL -

Across the Insurance and Healthcare business vertical:
Drive the product/service development process from the concept to the post-launch implementation and future roadmap development
Lead and participate in new product/service concept brainstorming meetings that help identify market needs, competitive threats, regulatory changes, gaps in service offerings and other issues that merit new development
Work with key stakeholders to develop a holistic view of the offering including market opportunity, design, delivery, pricing, and business case
Using project management, six sigma, and consultative skills develop forward looking roadmaps for each product and service to ensure continuing improvements
Work closely with senior leadership from P&C, Life, and Health lines of business in both the front-end and delivery services teams
Responsibilities:
Manage portfolio of product/service development ideas; maintain status and project plans for each product/service idea; drive forward progress through well-orchestrated meetings, workshops, and focus groups. Develop consistent approach to pipeline management including market analysis, SWOT, business case, and future product roadmap
Employ six sigma (Lean, DMAIC, and DMADV) discipline to the development of improved product/services. Engage in effective process mapping, identification of non-value steps, and opportunities for technology solutions to improve value of delivered.
Drive significant and measurable revenue resulting from new product/service activities
Assist with process improvement activities for Trumbull Services
Qualifications:
5 – 10 years experience in various roles in the insurance industry
Strong project management skills with 6 sigma training a must
Prefer Master Black Belt with proven ability to drive results and improve outcomes
Strong financial acumen – MBA preferred
Proven leadership abilities and strong consultative skills
Must be able to navigate a highly disperse workforce and to drive results
