As Blackbaud continues to grow, we are seeking a Director of Investor Relations to share our story to the investment community and beyond. This position will report to our CFO and will be a key member of our executive team to help impact our bottom line and be the ‘face’ of Blackbaud. Key competencies include;

1.) A master in communication and presentation skills : We are looking for someone who can create, develop, and present the Blackbaud story. The ideal candidate will be a sophisticated and polished storyteller who appeals to a range of stakeholders.

2.) Razor sharp intellect: The ideal candidate will understand the complexity of the technology (SaaS) industry and how it appeals to the investment community. We are looking for someone who has a strong financial background of SEC rules, corporate financials, public accounting, regulatory issues, and equity markets specifically in the software industry.

3.) Strategic thinker who gets things done: This is a newly created role so this candidate will need to be able to strategize and build an IR practice. The ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude and can effectively execute in an organized matter.

At Blackbaud we strive for success and we are looking for a candidate who likes challenges and hard work. Required experience includes;

Minimum of 6 years of investor relations experience

BA/BS degree required. MBA, CFA or CPA a plus

Minimum of 3-5 years public company reporting experience

Must have ability to analyze and interpret key data, including competitive and economic dynamics affecting the business.

Demonstrated strong verbal and written skills and interpersonal skills. Experience as a media spokesperson preferred

Must be a highly motivated and creative individual who thinks strategically and will continuously challenge investor and corporate perception of the factors that impact share valuation.

Must have a solid understanding of corporate financials, public company accounting and regulatory issues. Experience in equity markets is preferred.

Must be proactive in anticipating needs of senior management and responsive to investor requests.
